High Schools were an important step.  Stafford High School is shown here in 1935.  It later became an elementary school.  Modern wings were added and part of it became a middle school.  It is now the School Board Office or Alvin Y. Bandy Building.  It was named for Alvin Y. Bandy, a former supervisor, who always valued school growth.
